Panic and Evasion

Well I got an Iris from a memorial day card pack and from what I've seen so far her skill Panic is an active skill that has a chance to activate every turn and seal the skills of her target (making it potentially much more useful against decks that stack cards with other active skills like Critical, etc). One question I have is: does Evasion act as a passive skill, i.e. it activates at the beginning of the fight and lasts however many turns? I'd like to fuse Evasion onto Iris, so I'm just making sure it won't conflict with Panic.

evasion is passive, dunno about panic.

Well I can confirm that Panic is an active ability. Since it has a chance to activate on any of Iris' turns it also means it's possible to seal the skills of multiple cards at a time. Since Iris is melee, however, it also means that it will only ever be able to hit another card in the front row.

Well, you better give her black hole, a front line melee with evasion is a prime target for Grims and Amymon and they are a LOT of them flying around.

The thing about black hole, though, is the only cards with that ability are Beelzebub and Empusa, so levelling it is a lot harder than levelling evasion.

Well, thats really up to you to decide, either go for a harder to get skill or get a skill with more risk of getting countered (and receive massive dmg in the process), take into account that Iris's defense isnt stellar, and with her lack of front/back line versatilty she is most likely the first one to go down during a vicious attack round.

To be fair I'm not entirely sure how Black Hole even works.

From my understanding, blackhole reduces a % of the damage taken when activated, I think its about 10 to 15% , im NOT sure. But from the player's feedback, the activation rate is lower than evasion..so decide by yourself.

From what I've seen, Evasion is a buff that activates at the beginning of battle and for a certain number of turns that card can't be hit by attacks. It's nice because I put Iris in front with Evasion along with a high defense card to delay the battle and let them take all the hits while my predominantly offensive back line deals damage.
